Langelinie Pavillonen

other

Langelinie Pavillonen stands as a sleek, modernist glass structure defined by its expansive windows and steel support columns along the Copenhagen waterfront. This building is the third pavilion to occupy this site, which was originally established in the sixteen sixties as a defensive fortification for the nearby Kastellet. The two previous pavilions, built in eighteen eighty-four and nineteen oh two, served as social gathering points for the Royal Danish Yacht Club and the city’s sailing community.
