Jardin Claire-Motte

The Jardin Claire-Motte is a green space in the seventeenth arrondissement of Paris defined by the remnants of the nineteenth-century Thiers wall. This park was created in two thousand five on land formerly occupied by railway tracks and the site of the military bastion number forty-five. A stone escarpment remains from these old fortifications, and visitors can walk along a high promenade that overlooks this historic masonry.
