Fondation Dubuffet

The Fondation Dubuffet is tucked behind an interior courtyard at one hundred thirty-seven rue de Sèvres, marked by a small brass plaque on the entrance door. This site occupies a nineteenth-century private mansion that Jean Dubuffet acquired in the early nineteen sixties. He originally purchased the building to house his personal Collection de l'Art Brut, before those works were relocated to Lausanne in nineteen seventy-six.
