Square Ernest Chausson

Square Ernest Chausson exists as a modern garden built entirely on top of a parking garage. To make this possible, the designers used lightweight polystyrene blocks beneath the soil to reduce the weight pressing down on the underground concrete slabs. The park features a geometric layout and occupies a space near the La Fourche intersection in the seventeenth arrondissement.
