Juniorhaus

The Juniorhaus on Kaiserplatz is defined by its rounded, glass-enclosed external staircase that rises between two symmetrical office wings. Completed in nineteen fifty-one, the building occupies a triangular corner lot where a nineteenth-century house with a cafe once stood until its destruction in a nineteen forty-four bombing raid. Designed by architect Wilhelm Berentzen, the nine-story structure reaches thirty-five meters and was among the first high-rise buildings erected in Frankfurt during the post-war reconstruction period.
