The Yahudi Hamam is a stone and brick building defined by multiple domes with star-shaped light holes set into the roof. Constructed in the sixteenth century by the Ottoman official Halil Aga, it sits at the intersection of Vasileos Irakleiou and Frangini streets. While it is known today as the Bath of the Jews, its original name was Pazar Hamam, reflecting its placement within the central commercial market of the city.
