Inn of France

The Inn of France is the most ornate building on the Street of the Knights, distinguished by the rich heraldic carvings that adorn its facade. Built between fourteen ninety-two and fifteen hundred and three, it served as a residence and gathering place for French knights, who belonged to the Order of Saint John. The building is part of a series of inns constructed to house members of the Order based on their national language or region.
