Saint John's Gate - Red Door

Saint John's Gate, often called Porta Kokkini or the Red Door, is a stone entrance set into the southeastern curtain of the medieval walls of Rhodes. You can identify it by the distinctively deep, reddish hue of the surrounding masonry, which contrasts with the pale stone of the rest of the fortifications.
