The Shri Satyanarayan Tulsi Manas Temple is a striking structure built entirely of white marble that radiates a distinctive glow against its surrounding gardens. It was constructed in nineteen sixty-four by the Sureka family of Howrah, West Bengal, and was inaugurated by the second president of India, Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama and is named for the sixteenth-century poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas.
