Shree Panchayati Akhada Mahanirvani

The Shree Panchayati Akhada Mahanirvani is a monastic institution for Shaivite ascetics, belonging to a tradition of warrior-monks that has existed for over twelve centuries. It is one of the seven primary Shaiva akharas, which are organized bodies of renunciants dedicated to both spiritual discipline and the protection of the Hindu faith. While the akhada maintains significant headquarters in cities like Haridwar and Prayagraj, it operates branches across India, including this site in Varanasi.
