Raja ghat

Raja Ghat is defined by the stone steps that descend toward the Ganges and a massive, fort-like structure that anchors its northern end. Built in seventeen twenty by Shri Rajirao Balaji and later renovated by Peshwa Amrit Rao in eighteen oh seven, the site served as a vital ferry point for generations. Travelers and pilgrims long relied on this crossing to move between the riverbanks before the construction of the Malviya Bridge redirected the flow of the city.
