The Nepali Temple, or Nepali Mandir, stands out in the landscape because of its distinctive red pagoda-style architecture, a rarity among the stone shrines of Varanasi. Constructed from termite-resistant timber, terracotta, and stone, the building features intricate wooden carvings of deities and mythological figures along its eaves and entrance gates.
