Hammam Seffarine حمام الصفارين

Hammam Seffarine is recognizable from above by the pierced domes that crown its roof, though its street-level entrance is an unassuming horseshoe arch. Located on the southwest side of Place Seffarine in the medina of Fez, this bathhouse dates back to the fourteenth century during the Marinid period. It was originally built to serve the coppersmiths whose rhythmic hammering still fills the surrounding square today.
