The Institute of History at Jagiellonian University is a central academic body within the University's Faculty of History, headquartered in a complex of buildings in the heart of Kraków. Its scholarly roots reach back to the nineteenth century, but the Institute as a distinct organizational unit within the university was formally established on April twenty-fourth, nineteen seventy.
