The Kazimierz Palace is a neoclassical building identified by its central position on the University of Warsaw campus. Originally constructed between sixteen thirty-seven and sixteen forty-one, it began as a mannerist suburban villa for King Władysław the Fourth Vasa. Known then as Villa Regia, the residence featured a garden loggia with sweeping views toward the Vistula River.
