Dom Angielski

The English House, or Dom Angielski, stands at number sixteen Chlebnicka Street as one of the most prominent Renaissance townhouses in the city. Built between fifteen sixty-eight and fifteen seventy by the architect Hans Kramer for a wealthy merchant named Dirk Lylge, the structure spans two adjacent plots. It rises to a height of thirty meters, featuring eight stories and a wide, intricately decorated facade that historically displayed vibrant sgraffito and gilding.
