Gdańsk Old City Hall

The Old Town Hall in Gdańsk is a square brick building located on Korzenna Street, distinguished by its Flemish-style central tower and corner turrets. Designed by the Dutch architect Anthonis van Obbergen and completed in fifteen ninety-five, the structure replaced an earlier fourteenth-century hall that had fallen into disrepair. It served as the seat of the Old Town council for nearly two centuries, featuring a Great Hall that acted as a center for municipal administration and local government.
