The Mercado de Abastos is defined by its collection of eight granite halls. Located in the heart of Santiago de Compostela, this market occupies the space between the Church of Santo Agostiño to the north and the Church of San Fiz de Solovio to the south. While the current stone structure dates to nineteen forty-one, the site has functioned as a central trading point for fresh food for over three centuries.
