Casa Otaegui is the oldest artisan pastry shop in San Sebastián, founded in eighteen eighty-six by Raimundo Malcorra and Josefa Martina Otaegui. The location on Narrika Street is recognizable by its marble facade, checkerboard flooring, and wooden furnishings dating to the nineteen thirties. This business has operated for four generations, maintaining a commitment to traditional techniques that earned it an appointment as an official supplier to the Spanish Royal Household and Queen Regent Maria Christina in the early twentieth century.
