Saint Vincent's Church

Saint Vincent’s Church is the oldest religious building in San Sebastián. You can identify the structure by its robust Gothic exterior, which features a tall bell tower and thick stone walls that recall the city's past as a fortified town. Construction on this site began in fifteen oh seven, replacing a medieval Romanesque temple destroyed by fire. The architects Miguel de Santa Celay and Juan de Urrutia designed the current building, which incorporates Gothic-style ribbed vaults and a central nave that rises above the lateral aisles.
