Acción Latina is a nonprofit organization housed in a storefront on Twenty-Fourth Street, characterized by the rotating displays of the Juan R. Fuentes Gallery visible through its front windows. Founded in nineteen seventy, it originated as a class project at San Francisco State University when students sought to create a media voice for the Latino community.
