Presidio Promenade Trail

The Presidio Promenade is a two-point-one-mile paved path defined by its connection between the urban edge of the Lombard Gate and the Golden Gate Bridge. It serves as a primary route through the Presidio of San Francisco, a former military post that shifted from a Spanish fort established in seventeen seventy-six to a United States Army base, before becoming part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in nineteen ninety-four.
