Mission Creek Park North is a linear public park that stretches along the Berry Street side of the Mission Creek Channel. You can recognize this space by its tiled esplanade, which runs between Fourth and Seventh Streets and provides a vantage point for viewing the tidal waterway. The park is a remnant of the much larger Mission Bay, a shallow area of open water and marshlands that nineteenth-century city planners filled with debris, including shipwrecks and waste, to create industrial land.
