The Washington Guns sit under a canopy just east of City Hall on Bay Street. These two bronze cannons, one British and one French, rest on oak carriages mounted on a platform. George Washington presented these pieces to the Chatham Artillery militia company in seventeen ninety-one following his visit to Savannah.
