Hewing Hotel

The Hewing Hotel is defined by its exposed heavy-timber beams and brick walls, features that mark it as a converted nineteenth-century warehouse. Constructed in eighteen ninety-seven as the Jackson Building, the structure once functioned as a showroom and warehouse for farm implements. Wide storefront windows on the ground level, which once allowed passersby to view tractors and other heavy equipment, remain part of the exterior.
