Founded in nineteen oh six by Italian immigrants Luigi and Domenico Fante, the business began not as a kitchenware store, but as a cabinetmaker’s shop where the family built furniture. Over the decades, the store transformed its inventory to survive changing times, selling everything from imported crystal and venetian blinds to the specialized tools that eventually defined its reputation.
