The Ernest Tubb Record Shop features a large, spinning neon guitar sign hanging above the sidewalk on Lower Broadway. Founded in nineteen forty-seven by the country music singer known as the Texas Troubadour, the store moved to this location in nineteen fifty-one to provide fans with access to country records that were often difficult to find in standard retail shops.
