Tootsies Orchid Lounge occupies a narrow, three-story brick building on Broadway painted a distinct shade of purple. The business operates in the space that formerly housed Mom’s Restaurant, which sat directly in the alleyway path behind the Ryman Auditorium. Performers from the Grand Ole Opry regularly slipped out of the stage door to grab a drink between sets at the theater.
