Whiskey Street Cocktails and Dining occupies a stretch of Main Street that earned its name over a century ago. Legend holds that in eighteen fifty-seven, Brigham Young dubbed this particular block Whiskey Street to describe the high concentration of saloons and taverns that catered to miners and other newcomers.
