The Kangaroo Point Cliffs are a sheer, twenty-meter-high rock face of volcanic stone that forms a dramatic backdrop to the Brisbane River. Known geologically as Brisbane Tuff, these pink and green rocks were laid down during the Triassic Period about two hundred thirty million years ago.
