25 Pirie St

Twenty-five Pirie Street is the location of the old Methodist Meeting Hall, a structure built of Dry Creek stone with brick dressings that stands as the last remaining fragment of a large nineteenth-century church complex. Designed by the architect Edmund Wright and finished in eighteen sixty-two, the hall was once the schoolroom for a congregation that worshipped at a "cathedral" church on the same site.
