The Rundle Mall Fountain is a cast-iron structure featuring Victorian-era detailing, and today it sits near the entrance of the Adelaide Arcade. Originally one of a pair, it was manufactured in England by the foundry of Andrew Handyside and Company and stood for decades at the entrance to the Jubilee Exhibition Building on North Terrace. After the exhibition building was demolished in the nineteen sixties, the fountain was eventually moved to this pedestrian precinct.
