Migration Museum

The Migration Museum is recognizable by a bronze sculpture of a family group, placed in the courtyard near the entrance to greet visitors. This institution, which opened in nineteen eighty-six as the first of its kind in the world, occupies a complex of early colonial bluestone buildings on Kintore Avenue. Its galleries preserve the histories and cultural identities of the people who have settled in South Australia from the nineteenth century to the present day.
