Cold Chisel Lane

other

Cold Chisel Lane is a narrow, tucked-away passage off Burnett Street that is distinguished by a fifty-meter-long mural covered entirely in text. The wall features no images of the band members, but instead displays a sprawling collection of handwritten notes, fan commentary, and phrases gathered by local artist James Dodd. This laneway was officially named in twenty twenty-one to honor the pub rock group Cold Chisel, which formed in Adelaide in nineteen seventy-three.
