Brooke Street Pier

The Brooke Street Pier is a floating, four-story building on the waterfront of Sullivans Cove. You can identify it by its diaphanous skin of polycarbonate cladding, which makes the entire structure appear to glow like a canvas tent when illuminated at night. Weighing over five thousand tonnes, this structure functions as both a building and a boat. It is held in place by a specialized mooring system that allows the entire terminal to rise and fall with the tides while remaining anchored to the seabed.
