Woody's and SAILOR

Woody's and its connected companion, SAILOR, are two bars at four hundred sixty-seven Church Street that function as a single, sprawling nightlife complex in the heart of the Church-Wellesley Village. From the sidewalk, you can identify the site by its two distinct storefronts, which appear separate from the outside but are joined together on the interior. Woody's has occupied this corner since July nineteen eighty-nine, initially establishing itself as a bar meant to support the local community during the height of the AIDS crisis.
