Café Cherrier occupies the corner of Saint-Denis and Cherrier streets, recognizable by its vine-covered wrap-around terrace and a signature awning that shelters tables even in the cooler months. Founded in October nineteen eighty-three by Jacques Boisseau, the establishment occupies a building that was nearly demolished before he recognized its potential in nineteen eighty-one.
