Francophonie Park

Francophonie Park is a public space defined by its natural amphitheater layout, which centers on a quiet basin and fountain designed to muffle the sounds of the surrounding streets. Located on Grande Allée Est, the site serves as a link between government office buildings on the Colline Parlementaire. The park is a remnant of a massive urban redevelopment project that took place between nineteen sixty-one and nineteen seventy-four, when the area was restructured to accommodate new administrative architecture.
