St. Louis Gate

The Saint-Louis Gate is a stone archway integrated into the defensive walls of Old Québec, marked by medieval-style turrets and a wide passage for traffic. It stands on the site of a series of gates that date back to the seventeenth century, when French authorities first established a connection through the ramparts.
