Dufferin Terrace

Dufferin Terrace is a long wooden boardwalk that stretches along the cliff edge of Quebec City, running beside the Château Frontenac and overlooking the St. Lawrence River. This sweeping promenade follows the line of the historic fortifications and sits directly above the buried remains of the Saint-Louis Forts and Châteaux, where French and British governors once lived for over two hundred years.
