At number six hundred nine Rue Saint-Jean sits the former home of Entre Nous Écochange. For several years, this storefront operated as a clothing exchange where members traded pre-owned garments rather than simply buying new ones. Michelle Lichtenberg, a former elementary school teacher, opened the shop in two thousand nineteen with the goal of reducing textile waste. She curated the inventory to include high-quality fabrics and designer accessories, creating a system where residents could refresh their wardrobes while keeping usable clothing out of landfills.
