The Jardin des Mille Roses is defined by a central lawn and a roseraie tucked within the grounds of the Hôpital Corentin Celton. This space was formerly the enclosed courtyard of the nineteenth-century hospice known as Les Petits Ménages, which once restricted access to patients and staff behind high stone walls. Since two thousand four, the perimeter has been opened to the public, allowing visitors to cross between the Rue Guynemer and the Parvis Corentin Celton.
