The Serge Rachmaninoff Conservatory occupies an elegant private mansion located at twenty-six Avenue de New York. Built in the sixteenth arrondissement, this structure sits facing the Seine and the Eiffel Tower. It has operated as a center for music, dance, and theater instruction since the nineteen twenties, carrying on the traditions of the Russian schools that were displaced by the revolution.
