The Lycée Jean-Baptiste-Say, located at eleven bis rue d'Auteuil, is marked by a central pavilion that incorporates the historic hôtel Galpin. This public institution, built between eighteen ninety-one and nineteen fourteen to designs by the architect Germain Sallard, occupies the site where an earlier teacher training school was established in the eighteen seventies. The building's façade and specific interior spaces, including a grand salon and the director's cabinet, were officially recognized as historical monuments in nineteen twenty-eight.
