Hotel Zum Ritter St. Georg

The Hotel Zum Ritter St. Georg is defined by its ornate, red sandstone facade and the knightly bust of Saint George perched atop its pointy gable. Built in fifteen ninety-two by the Huguenot cloth merchant Carolus Bélier, this building remains one of the few patrician houses in Heidelberg that survived the fires and destruction of the seventeenth-century wars.
