Wilhelm Palais

The Wilhelmspalais is defined by its clean, classicist facade, a structure originally designed by the Italian architect Giovanni Battista Salucci and completed in eighteen forty. Intended as a residence for the daughters of King Wilhelm the First of Württemberg, the palace eventually became the home of the last king of Württemberg, Wilhelm the Second, who lived here until his abdication in nineteen eighteen.
