The State Parliament building is marked by its clear, cubic silhouette and a dark, metal-and-glass curtain wall, designed with a square floor plan. Completed in nineteen sixty-one, this structure occupies a prominent spot near the Eckensee and the Stuttgart Opera House. It holds the distinction of being the first purpose-built parliamentary structure in Germany following the end of the Second World War.
