Schlossplatz

Schlossplatz is defined by the Jubilee Column rising from its center, topped by a statue of the Roman goddess Concordia. This expansive square, the largest in Stuttgart, is framed by the baroque architecture of the New Palace and the late classical façade of the Königsbau. While it now serves as a central green space for the city, the area spent its first century as a restricted military parade ground.
