Rheinuferpromenade

The Rheinuferpromenade is a wide, two-level pedestrian avenue that stretches for roughly two kilometers along the eastern bank of the Rhine. You can identify it by the rows of mature plane trees lining the upper walkway, which provide shade for the many benches facing the water. Below, the lower level features a smooth tarmac path designed for cyclists and skaters, running alongside a flood wall often lined with outdoor cafes and bars.
