The Neuer Zollhof consists of three distinct buildings that appear to lean and twist against the skyline, their surfaces undulating in wavy, sculptural forms. Designed by the architect Frank Gehry and completed in nineteen ninety-eight, this complex transformed a former customs site into a hallmark of the redeveloped MedienHafen. Each of the three structures features a different facade material: one is clad in stainless steel, one in white plaster, and one in red brick.
